Wow its been toooo long. Well im in college now and with my new found knowledge and new views on life i guess i have some ideas to add. First, i have met a few christians in college who are really cool but no matter how "accepting" they are of me, we can never be real true friends because their religion tells them not to get to close to people like me. Their friends church and everyone around them tells them that we are too different to be friends and especially a couple (girls) or best friends (guys). This illustrates my most poignant point of the fallacy of religion being that it says it is all-encompassing and loving when really it is completely destructive to human relationships. I have great friends of many religions but all friendships with "true" christians are haulted at a certain point because im too "different". friendship is one of the very few tangible real sincere great things in the world that are without a doubt true and real and because of a "god" who may or may not exist they are filled with bumps and holds, kinda makes me ill to my stomach.
one reason which not proof but is not false that god probably does not exist.
Religion is regional, please explain why different areas are predominately one religion. To me this says that all religions are of man and only that because every area has their own interpretation of "god." just because christians were the best at spreading their "god" does not mean they are the most true or real.

P.s. i do not only have beef with christians, its just i live in michigan so my life has rarely been negatively affected by any other religion.

If satan exists he started the idea of evangelical christians and it backfired. Because evangelical christians are really modern day slave traders. "Just go catch the "weak" and the "heathens" and bring them to be "saved"." Sounds a lot like "just go catch those "niggers" and those "savages" and bring them to become "civilized"." hmm strikingly similar. Christians are fine. Just leave the rest of us alone because you probably are wrong. Who knows? Not you, nor me, nor any human that ever existed (and jesus was human, nothing more sadly, just a damned good speaker with some revolutionary and i must say profound ideas. A great man nothing more)

no posts in a while...anyone care to bring up any topics worth discussing?

i have these two friends. well i suppose i wouldn't call them friends anymore. they heard about some shit i did on new years eve and sat down to pray for me.

same night later on: said friends go to a coffee shop where they proceed to talk shit about me.

considering i am one of the most prominent non christians in their lives that they could be 'witnessing' to, this rubbed me the wrong way. i appreciate the prayers, however they clearly did not practice what they preached.

do people really think i could switch to a religion where something so easy as keeping the mouth shut about certain events rather than whispering about what kind of horrible person i am is THAT difficult to do?

it just seemed a little odd. 'you must be the change you wish to see in the world' if that is the change they wish to see then they must be following a page from 'MY satan worshipping' book rather than the 'bible'

sidenote:no i don't fucking worship the devil

How interesting the only examples i get are from a non-christian and an open minded catholic (that may be an oxymoron im not sure) but no comments for all those self-righteous closed-minded evangelical holier-than-thou christian reformers who are living in a box of self-serving holiness. Sorry to burst your bubble but an afterworld is probably not in your future weather it exists or not.
